Course Description
For rising 4th-7th graders. Students investigate the physics of electricity and mechanical design as they design and create interactive innovations, highlighting how circuits bring the magic to life. Using materials like batteries, lights, wires and motors, young engineers will design and build innovative gadgets, such as chomping mechanical creatures, imaginative vehicles, and carnival attractions, while learning the nuances of how circuits control and communicate through energy flow. Student creations get to be taken home each day! To further customize their creations, students utilize 3D printers to fabricate custom components, enhancing both the functionality and creativity of their projects. Student project designs will vary as they harness their own interests to determine own unique designs based on each project's parameters. Pricing shown is for 9:00am - 12:00pm. To extend your child's day to 3:00pm for the week, select the afternoon enrichment add-on at check-out ($180 per week).
