Course Description

Students dive into the art and science of designing and fine-tuning interactive games and launching contraptions, using electrical and 3D printed components! As they investigate the physics of electrical circuits and mechanical design, students will use batteries, wires, LEDs, motors and craft supplies to create innovative gadgets, such as stuffy catapults, bubble machines, wacky wire games, and light-up trivia boards. They will explore how necessary components can be designed and 3D printed, gaining firsthand insight into the creation process and incorporating these elements into their work.  Students can take their unique creations home, showcasing their newfound skills and creativity. Student project designs will vary as they harness their own interests to determine own unique designs based on each project's parameters. Pricing shown is for 9:00am - 12:00pm. To extend your child's day to 3:00pm for the week, select the afternoon enrichment add-on at check-out ($180 per week).
